Junior Zookeeper Experience

The Junior Keeper Experience is suitable for a maximum of 2 kids, ages 5-14.

Junior keepers take part in a range of activities required of a zookeeper, while gaining exclusive behind-the-scenes access alongside our animal experts.

The experience lasts 2 hours and includes admission to the zoo for the whole day.

Activities include preparing meals or creating animal enrichment for gelada baboons, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, meerkats, red river hogs and village weaver birds.

In exceptional circumstances, due to animal welfare needs, the variety of animals included in this experience may vary on the day.

When booking a Junior Zookeeper Experience, the price also includes zoo entry for one supervising adult. The adult will not be able to participate in the experience, but can accompany the child doing the experience.
